Purpose: The AROHE Travel Institute helps facilitate travel opportunities for retirement organizations in seven U.S. regions, and in the future, will coordinate annual AROHE-sponsored tours.

Goal: The Travel Insitute Committe plans to recruit a member from each region to act as the representative for that region to disseminate and collect information to help Institutes plan regional tours.

Action Steps: The committee will:

  • Create a list of RO travel reps from each institution to head up their Travel committee.

  • After gathering list of institutions interested in travel, offer webinars or Zoom sessions to help organizations develop or enhance their travel groups.

  • Prepare and send travel surveys to each institution’s travel representative to determint their travel interests and needs.

  • Invite each regional representative to serve as a member of the AROHE Travel Institute Committee to assist in selecting regional and national tours.
